Ingredients

  • 1 oz Blue Curaçao
  • 1 oz Coconut Rum
  • 1 oz Raspberry Vodka
  • 2 oz Sweet and Sour Mix
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Grenadine
  • Ice cubes
  • Gummy shark candy optional garnish
  • Lime wheel or orange slice for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Bar spoon & Strainer
  • Hurricane glass or highball glass
  • Citrus juicer (for fresh lime juice)
  • Ice scoop or ice tray
  • Cocktail picks (optional for garnishes)

Method

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  2. Add the blue curaçao, coconut rum, raspberry vodka, sweet and sour mix, orange juice, and fresh lime juice.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Fill a tall hurricane glass or highball glass with fresh ice.
  5. Strain the blue cocktail mixture into the prepared glass.
  6. Slowly pour the grenadine into the drink. It will sink to the bottom and create the signature "shark attack" effect.
  7. Garnish with a gummy shark candy, lime wheel, or orange slice.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Adding excessive grenadine can overpower the fruity flavors and make the drink overly sweet. Stick to about ½ ounce for the best balance.
