Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce or hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon sugar optional, for slight sweetness
  • 1–2 teaspoons lemon juice for tang

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Measuring spoons
  • Airtight container (for storage)
  • Rubber spatula (optional, for scraping the bowl clean)

Method

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add mayonnaise, ketchup, and chili sauce.
  2. Whisk until smooth and evenly combined.
  3. Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and all the dry spices.
  4. Mix thoroughly until the sauce becomes creamy and well blended.
  5. Taste and adjust, if needed add more lemon juice for tang or a dash of hot sauce for heat.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors develop.

Notes

Freshly mixed sauce tastes good, but chilling it allows the flavors to fully blend and deepen.
