Method
- Pat the steak dry with paper towels and cut into evenly sized cubes. This helps them cook evenly and sear properly.
- In a bowl, mix steak with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
- Place a heavy skillet (preferably cast iron) on medium-high heat. Add olive oil and let it get hot.
- Add steak pieces in a single layer (don’t overcrowd). Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and slightly crispy outside.
- Reduce heat slightly, add garlic and butter. Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
Putting too much steak at once causes steaming instead of searing. Cook in batches if needed.
